Storytelling is a participatory, interactive experience that is tailored to the audience. You can expect a storyteller, a few props, music, guitar singing and lots of opportunity to join in. Babies and children with additional needs are welcome. Snoring dad's and mums will be fined. There will be blankets and rugs to sit on as well as chairs. There's a side door to a foyer space with glass doors/windows to the main (Garden) room so you can still see in if you need to take a small break with a child
I am a profesional storyteller based in Sherwood. I tell myths, legends, folk and fairy tales and sing songs. I mainly tell stories in children's hospitals and in schools and pre-schools. I work across the country and excel at being silly.
My website is www.amandasmithstorytelling.weebly com and I work with a crack team of hospital storytellers for the amazing www.readforgood.co.uk - see my profile on their website.
I have enhanced DBS and £5million public liability insurance (but don't fall over will you?!)
Any questions email me at [email protected] or call 07949 541147.
